Teaching

Ross is Lecturer in Clarinet and Wind Ensemble at Morley College London and is a clarinet tutor at the City Literary Institute in Covent Garden. Private lessons are also available on request.

Learning the clarinet is fun way to pick up new skills. Not only will you learn to read music, music theory and clarinet technique, you will also build confidence, problem solving skills, critical thinking and mindfulness. 

Ross’s methods are based in Alexander Technique and lessons are tailored around your aspirations whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced - children and adults alike (most recent Enhanced DBS dated 1/12/16). Ross teaches all styles of music from classical to jazz, folk and popular styles.

Ross has successfully prepared many students for ABRSM exams, is additionally a coach for auditions and chamber music or can teach students just who want to learn just for fun. Lessons can be given individually or in groups and Ross’s engaging classes at Morley and City Lit are open to all adults. Qualifications:

City and Guilds Level 3 Award in Education and Training - City Lit

Master of Music Performance - TLCMD (Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance)

Postgraduate Diploma in Music Performance - MCM (Melbourne Conservatorium of Music)

Bachelor of Music with Honours - MCM

Fellow of the Royal Schools of Music - ABRSM
