Clarinet/Bass Clarinet

Ross has played for opera productions in London from their arrival in 2010 until present. Productions include Pagliacci, Madama Butterfly, La Boheme, Don Giovanni and Hansel and Gretel with companies such as OperaUpClose, Tête à Tête, OperaInSpace, LiveArtShow, HeadFirst Productions and St Paul’s Opera. He has also played for new works by Simone Spagnolo such as The Colour Blue and Faust, Alberta.

As a chamber musician he performed the Weber Grand Duo Concertant alongside Dr Leslie Howard for the annual Liszt Society concert in 2012. He has performed with a number of ensembles at venues such as the Cutty Sark, St Brides Fleet St, Lauderdale House, the Design Museum plus the Pure Gold Festival. Ross joined the Aubert Trio, for their 2013-15 seasons which included lunchtime concerts across London and surrounds, the Maldon Festival and two tours of the Charente and Dordogne regions in France.

Ross does regular recording sessions. Examples are for opera productions such as Spagnolo’s The Colour Blue, Daniel Sonabend’s soundtrack for the film Act/Or. Also sessions for theatre productions for Tara Arts and for TV productions for BBC and Channel 4. Other sessions were 3MBS Live at the Convent in Abbotsford, Melbourne, the Victorian College of the Arts Symphony Orchestra at ABC Studios, the Trinity Laban Contemporary Music Group and Wren Ensemble, Danyal Dhondy’s opera Just So - Tête à Tete. Chamber music sessions include the Southern Sky Trio, Trio Hirtenlied and Aubert Trio.
